750 N Carroll Ave Addition & Renovation

Southlake, Texas

This project began with an existing 6,600 sq. ft., residential style, multi-tenant office building located directly across the street from Southlake Town Square. The building was out of leasable space and lacked presence and personality. DLA was tasked with the design to expand and renovate the building to fulfill the owner’s desire to accommodate one of his growing tenants and upgrade the exterior to a more contemporary look. Working with the City and the adjacent neighborhood association the project was carefully designed to meet strict City standards for parking, landscaping, and building aesthetics while being sensitive to the needs and concerns of the neighbors. The building was expanded to 11,742 sq. ft., and the site was reworked to accommodate the larger building footprint as well as additional parking. Both vertical and horizontal building façade articulation were incorporated into the design, creating a dynamic building composition, distinct and appealing, and in keeping with the spirit of the Southlake Town Square district.
