EXPERIENCE:Elizabeth joined DLA in fall 2017. Her interest in architecture started in middle
school, when she visited several small community development projects. While living in Guatemala, she attended the University Francisco Marroquin, School of Architecture in Guatemala City before transferring to the University of Texas at Arlington, where she graduated with honors.
Through her education and experience, Elizabeth has developed a broad understanding of architecture, traditional drafting, diverse CAD & BIM software, digital fabrication and a variety of construction methods. She also participated in a study abroad program in Europe, where she visited a variety of historical and significant buildings.
Prior to joining the DLA team, Elizabeth worked as a production manager’s assistant, performing tasks related to production process, schedules, quality control procedures and other administrative assignments.
In addition to architecture, Elizabeth enjoys being with family and friends. She also has a great interest in art, painting, traveling and meeting people. She is an active member of her church, where she serves on the worship team and in women’s ministries. Her hobbies include reading, playing saxophone and playing basketball.
